How Todd Palin had time to do everything Sarah always says he does?

Commercial fisherman, BP oil supervisor, snowmobile champion, member of the steel union...

And again, where is the time for these children if he's doing all this and she's off running the state?

I think the older children did most of the raising of the younger children.

I think all his gigs are 2-3 month things. A couple of months of racing. A couple of months of fishing.

A couple of months of teaching his daughters the brilliance and great ideas of abstinence ...

Oh. Wait ...

But seriously ... why do we care what he does? HE isn't running for office. SHE is. SHE needs to answer some serious questions about the ISSUES. I just don't get why she and McCain don't get that ...

They do get it. But they know they are weak on all the important issues (even security, surprisingly) compared to Obama, so they want to make it solely a popularity contest.

Please tell me the American people, or at least a large majority of them, are sick to death of "popularity contests" to choose the leader of the free world ... because otherwise that atom smasher thingie in France might as well open up the black hole now ...

I am starting to think that a lot of Americans don't even know the difference.

I know a lot of people who are commercial fishermen for a few months out of the year and do other things the rest of the year. Living in Seattle, where a lot of the commercial boats for Alaskan fishing are from, you can't know 10 people without at least one having done that for a season or more.

Maybe, but hardly seems like the BP operates only a few months. And he was a director there? I'd like abig job like that that's only a few months a year.
