While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75-year old Texas rancher whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Sarah
Palin and her bid to be a heartbeat away from being President .
The old rancher said, 'Well, ya know, Palin is a post turtle.'
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a post turtle was.
The old rancher said, 'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a post turtle.'
The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued to explain. 'You know she didn't get up there by herself, she doesn't belong up there, she doesn't know what to do while she is up there, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put her up there to begin with.

With everything going on in this country, how can any thinking person even contemplate putting Palin in the second seat? It's like taking a peewee football coach and putting her in charge of the Giants.

I had to send this to my uber Republican friend who sent me this this morning:
Senator Barack Obama was invited to address a major gathering of the American Indian Nation two weeks ago in upstate New York. He spoke for almost an hour on his future plans for increasing every Native American's present standard of living, should he one day become the President. He referred to his career as a Senator, how he had signed "Yes" for every Indian issue that came to his desk for approval. Although the Senator was vague on the details of his plan, he seemed most enthusiastic about his future ideas for helping his "red sisters and brothers".
At the conclusion of his speech, the Tribes presented the Senator with a plaque inscribed with his new Indian name- Walking Eagle. The proud Senator then departed in his motorcade, waving to the crowds.
A news reporter later inquired to the group of chiefs of how they came to select the new name given to the Senator. They explained that Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of s***, it can no longer fly.
my reply said at least he visited the native americans! lol

Heh, it's not true: http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/eagle.asp
My uber Republican brother sends me crap like that all the time. Most of the time, I just don't read the emails because all they do is annoy me. On the rare occasion that I do read something along those lines, I always go to snopes.com and 9 out of 10 times it's b.s.!

funny that the joke is a recycled joke from the past..
apparently, just remove name and add someone else name to the joke, keep updating it... it applies to anyone it seems. can't people come up with something ORIGINAL...

Dave, Eli never should have gotten the MVP award.
***breaking news: Tony Romo is doing his Butterfinger impersonation yet again, and the Eagles are once again SOARING!***
Anyway, back to the lesser (least?) Manning....the Giants defensive unit should have mugged him in the parking lot and stolen the car, because they deserved it.
And he ain't good enough to overcome the personnel losses they've had.

Must be the time zones... My TV says 21-20 'Boys.
I feel dirty saying this, but I would rather see the Eagles win.
The least Manning doesn't even play. The other brother that is.
It's not his fault he got the MVP. He didn't vote, and all American sports are driven more on scoring than defense unfortunately. He had an okay game, and threw what will likely always be considered one of the greatest catches in Super Bowl history. Whether you like it or not.
And he looked fine with the personnel he had this weekend. I'm impressed with the Giants D right now though.
