how do you get an avatar?

i'm a newbie, and i don't know how to get an avatar. so if someone can please help me, that would be great.:)

First thing,

Welcome to LD Jessica! Enjoy yourself here.Alot of great boards and tons of amazing bands/actors/tv shows that should have their own board.But sadly they don't. I post mostly in the BSB forum.We also talk about other's in there like SuperNatural,Jared Leto,30 Seconds to Mars,Criss Angel,Jensen Ackles,etc. Hope to see ya over there.

Sept 2009 will be your mark of being here one year.So have 5,000 post (which is the number's before post under your name)and you'll be able to use an animated avatar.

Until then you must have 500 post to be about to use a reg avy.Size 100x100.It vary's from person to person.Some get it right at 500 and some are like 510,etc.

Just hop in threads and start chatting away.Hope I helped some.

Click on user cp,then edit avy.Should me some free one's up there to use now.Just pic one and save it.

Once you have 500+ just go back to userCP,click edit avy. Either put the url or upload the avy from your comp and click save.
