I don't really care about the Grammy's. Britney's not really a Grammy kind of artist so she's kind of disadvantaged there.

Amazing songs + amazing performances + amazing videos + amazing tour is all I want. :)

No tracklist yet, but there's definitely a track called Circus:

Britney Spears
Circus 12/2

If you're wondering what Spears has been up to this summer, the answer is: nothing scandalous. During the past four months, Spears has recorded some 30 tracks for her sixth studio album. "I wanted to experiment with producers I haven't worked with much before, like the Underdogs, who have a Timbaland kind of sound," says Spears from an L.A. studio where pop craftsmen like Dr. Luke ("I Kissed a Girl") and Danja teamed up with Spears for her comeback disc. Among the contenders are the thickly layered bump-and-grind of "Circus" and "Womanizer," produced by the Atlanta team the Outsyders. "I came into the studio because I had some free time," she says. "But once I started working, I was like, 'This is cool!' It just happened."

On the heels of an MTV VMA awards sweep, where Britney walked away with three Moonmen awards for "Video of the Year," "Best Female" and "Best Pop Video" for "Piece of Me," Jive Records is preparing her latest album, Circus, a follow-up to her critically well received album, Blackout. For her latest effort, Britney has enlisted a stellar group of established producers/writers that include Dr. Luke (who wrote and produced the album's title track, "Circus"), Danja, Max Martin, Bloodshy & Avant and Guy Sigsworth (Madonna, Alanis Morissette, Bjork).

Mannequin is also confirmed to be on the album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wHyJG73G18&fmt=18

Plus there is a rumored Danja track called Kill The Lights. :)

My favorite album of hers is In the Zone, so i'd hope it'd be more like that, but I'm guessing it'd be more along the lines of Blackout? If that makes any sense.

Its so much more relaxing this time around without having the major track leaks that happened with Blackout. :D

Cool, thanks! I hadn't noticed the mentions of a track called Cirucs.

That song "Mannequin"? sounds soooooooo hot. It reminds me of trancy 90s music by this weird group called THC. That track is way more ITZ than Blackout.

ITZ is my favorite Britney album as well especially because she actually wrote songs for that one. I know a majority of people think Blackout was her best work and that still stuns me. But that she has a #1 hit makes me so happy that after everything the girl can still do it.

ITZ is her best album artistically, but as a pure dance pop album Blackout trumps all imho. Those songs have so much performance potential too. If only she released Blackout when she was still on her game. :(

Britney help write "Freakshow" and "Ooh Ooh Baby" on Blackout, but she did write "Everytime" for ITZ which was much more personal.

ITZ flowed well, even though I didn't like 3 or 4 songs, but Blackout was an all around great listen.
I can hit the play button on Blackout and let the album ride out, I can't do that with ITZ.
