What??? More people preferred Mrs. Clinton than The Messiah? I thought Obama is the savior of all mankind. How can Mrs. Clinton be more popular than him?

Who Were Those Clinton-McCain Crossover Voters?

CBS News’ Election and Survey Unit’s survey analyst extraordinaire Jennifer De Pinto goes inside the exit polls from last week’s election and finds some interesting nuggets about those Hillary Clinton supporters who voted for John McCain:

As voters left the polls on Election Day, many were asked how they would have voted if the election match-up were between Hillary Clinton and John McCain rather than Barack Obama and McCain. 52 percent said they would have backed the former Democratic candidate; 41 percent would have voted for McCain, wider than Obama’s 7-point margin over McCain.

Interestingly, 16 percent of McCain voters said they would have voted for Clinton, the Democrat, if she had been her party’s nominee.

So who were these potential cross-over voters?

They were older: 61% of them were age 45 and above.

53% were women; while 47% were men.

43% of these voters who supported McCain but would have backed Clinton if she were in the race described themselves as Independents. 31% were Republicans; while 26% were Democrats.

Okay...well Hilary didn't get the nom.

Obama did. And Obama won. So that's all that matters. And your sarcastic comments about calling him the messiah and savior and therefore implying that all people who voted for him believed that and are that blind are insulting.

It'd be me like saying all republicans have the intelligence of Bush. Which while the thought may be amusing, is insulting as well and not true.

Your bitterness over McCain's embarrassing loss is painfully evident and almost pathetic. You can't make McCain suddenly be president, so you should let it go.

You have to excuse Regis. His bitterness has been building since his Main Man Mitt was beaten by a man Regis derisively referred to as "Juan" McCain. And now a socialist Muslim terrorist has been elected by his fellow citizens. ;) His bitterness is overflowing.

How am I supposed to provide proof when she doesnt have the chance to prove herself now?

We dont even know how Obama is going to do.

But basically Hillary has much more experience. She already ran the country for a time while her husband was fooling around.

Which is why you saying she would do better makes no sense. You said it like it's a fact when it isn't, it's your opinion.

Experience doesn't mean much. Bush had 4 years experience under his belt and look where it's gotten us in his 2nd term.

Yeah, Hillary ran the country. Again, proof?

What? You seriously think Bill was innocent?

:nc:

Anyway, it is my opinion that Hillary would have done a better job. But, Obama is a fine second choice and hopefully Hillary will be on his team.

No i dont...but i also know for a fact that he was not the first and only president to cheat on his wife.

Im sick of people bringing it up...Bill was a great president but because he made a mistake, every time his name is mentioned someone has to bring up the fact that he got a freakin BJ.

It also annoys the piss out of me that some people say that someone had to run the country when he was getting a BJ.

If anyone else was running the country, it sure as hell wasnt the first lady.

For the record i voted for Clinton in the NC primary and still wish she would have won the nomination. But its over with, we have elected Obama as our next President.
