You are warned.

So fresh off her VP candidacy loss, Sarah Palin is back in Alaska for her governing duties. Among them was the pardoning of a turkey as Thanksgiving looms. Afterwards, Palin gave a television interview at the turkey farm and plant. She gave her interview right in front of where the farm kills its turkeys.

The plant didn't shut down for the interview.

The attatchment will lead you to the Countdown's coverage of the event, during which Keith, fresh off vacation, watches the tape for the first time. In this tape, the turkeys aren't blurred out, but other tapes of it do their best to not show the dying turkeys.

I love how she says she'll likely receive criticism for "doing this," but she still doesn't seem to realize exactly what's going on... :rolleyes:

Not me.

To pardon a turkey and talk about how great you are for it, whilst turkeys are being slaughtered right behind you is kind of ridiculous. if nothing, something to laugh at her for.

i will be eating turkey, soley becuase i didnt watch the video.

On the bright side, as we saw with Tina Fey's impression, comedy writers don't even need to create parodies around her - they can just use her words and her actions verbatim.

I imagine SNL will have a treatment of this if they can convince Fey to revisit the character one more time (she's said she hopes she never has to do the Palin impression ever again).

:roll: I wonder if TV Land or some station is playing that episode this weekend.

I will be eating turkey as well since I hit the red X as soon as I saw the man standing behind her. I knew it wasn't going to be pretty.

I wish the media would let her 15 minutes expire. At least until 2012, because I know she's planning on coming back to haunt us then.
