Which one is your favorite? :music:
I personally prefer The Empire Strikes Back but I also have a soft for Return of the Jedi.

Pondering the Imponderable Imponderables...
So just how did a three-legged toad (often said to be Chang'e) get to the Moon? And was Neal Armstrong thinking of this when he said "That's one small step for a man; one giant leap for mankind"? Hmmm... and this leads one to wonder if Van Morrison was thinking of these two in the back of his mind when he composed the song, Moondance? ...except in this fairytale novel it is the other way around from the Disney version as Neal was the prince arriving in shining armour and Chang'e had been the princess of the Moon turned into a toad (missing a leg) while awaiting for a prince to arrive after all these many years from a long, long time ago... Well at any rate this cross-cultural connection between ancient legend and modern history does seem to be cause for the beginning of a weird but good storybook novel that spans thousands of years, covers both the far east and the west upon opposite sides of the globe but taking place in a far away location - upon the Moon.
Interesting... You might want to suggest these ideas above to your boss to research and hopefully get him interested in composing a storybook novel spin-off using the basic frameworks of the Trilogy but with different characters from closer to home. This might take him quite some time, but at least he will be occupied with his new found fascination that could put him on another tangent far away... meanwhile leaving you with some much needed peace and quiet for a long, long time ;)

:blueeek:goodness! I'm afraid if i took the time to suggest anything 'star-wars-related', he'd take it as a hint that i'm interested and quite possibly try to make everyday at work a STAR WARS DAY. :noway:

Keeping the story confined just to our solar system, those characters who had given into the dark side a long, long time ago before the age of man, could have been busy for thousands of years assembling a space station disguised as a moon that is presently in orbit around Saturn, the one known as Mimas. I'm sure discovering the existance of Mimas would fascinate your boss immensely - you know like you could put a bug in his ear ;)

but i don't want to fascinate my boss with star wars theories, that would only condone his obsession...and lead to many more long hours of sw discussion and movie watching. arrrrggghhhh:)

Just curious, is your boss an old Star Trek fan too? I have an interesting story to share about the planet Vulcan and how Albert Einstein, with his general theory of relativity, has disproven its very existance, and therefore logically Mr. Spock cannot exist either. ;) (or you can Google this info about Vulcan too)
Hmmm... perhaps a transporter malfunction caused him to vanish completely by placed him into a parallel universe where his home planet did not exist?
* * * POOF! * * *
Anyway it might make a great way to be written out of the story... or has that already happened before? Hmmm... before what? ;)
