Dangerous Cold Sweeps into East
A dangerous combination of bitterly cold air and gusty winds will spread in through Monday behind the latest of the series of winter storms to hit the Northeast. Another winter storm blasting the Northwest with a treacherous mix of heavy snow and ice will bring some nasty weather to the Midwest by Tuesday and the East by Christmas Eve Day.
The train of storms from coast to coast continued this weekend with another system slamming the Northwest and another bringing a mix of heavy snow, rain and ice through the Northeast.
The storm that moved into the Northeast Saturday night will continue to dump heavy snow and even produce blizzard conditions across parts of northern New England tonight before departing into the Canadian Maritimes by Monday morning. Behind the storm, bitterly cold arctic air will continue spreading in across the rest of the Northeast tonight.
