It must be Peyton Manning playing in the playoffs. You consider that he was terrible in the first two postseason games in the year he won the Super Bowl and his defense carried him, he has never played consistent in any postseason. I've never seen a player who struggles in the playoffs but can put up great regular season numbers at his age ever. If Eli can play well and the Giants win the Super Bowl, he will be basically the opposite of his brother. A mediocre quarterback who plays very well under pressure while Peyton is a great quarterback who is mediocre under pressure. I wouldn't vote for Peyton for the Hall of Fame at this point.

It could also be Tony Romo playing after Thanksgiving. :hah:

I agree, though, about Peyton. One ring does not a legend make, and I'm sure there are others who deserved the MVP more this year.

I think Adrian Peterson should have been MVP. Eli had I believe 8 touchdowns and 1 interceptions during the playoffs last year. That's all I ask for out of Peyton. One good consistent postseason and I won't talk about his failures anymore. He hasn't come close to that. There are legends who have only won 1 Super Bowl, but they've actually done well in the postseason. It's an issue of how you win the Super Bowl that matters, and Peyton is very lucky his team did so well in the first two games or he wouldn't have won anything at this moment.
