There is no word yet on casualties.
Israel had been expected to back Egypt's proposal to end the 22-day long war in Gaza after the Israeli envoy envoy reported "substantial progress" during talks in Cairo.
But according to a senior government official, quoted by the news agency AFP, Israel will respond to Hamas fire.
A Hamas official said the militant group would continue to fight unless Israel withdrew from Gaza - which is not part of the deal.
This is what kind of "peace" respons Hamas from Gaza sent to Israel. they sent bombs when Israel troops was not in Gaza, they sent them when Israel troops in Gaza and they will sent them after Israel troops will leave Gaza. So what's the difference? And this will never stop because Hamas don't want peace. And their voice is very clear for us in Israel. So why it's okay for Hamas to send bombs and kill? What made them so special? Why so many people in the world support the the group of terrorists who want all Jewish peoplle in Israel and in the world to be dead? Such a nice, "peacfull" society we live. I really don't want to be part of it.
