Do liberals ever advance past the age of 12?

Bush Mocked As He Arrives on Inauguration Dais

@ 11:52 am by Hill Staff

The crowd packed on the west side of the Capitol grounds serenaded President Bush in mocking fashion when he took to the inaugural stage alongside Vice President Dick Cheney.

"Nah nah nah nah, hey hey, good-bye," a section of the crowd chanted.

The crowd packed immediately below the podium received Bush in stony silence when he took his seat on the stage surrounding the podium where Barack Obama was scheduled to take the oath office to become the 44th president of the United States.

The jeers are among the final public feedback Bush will receive as president.

First Lady Laura Bush and Lynne Cheney received light applause when they were announced to the crowd.

Bush is scheduled to depart from the East Front of the Capitol by helicopter after the swearing-in ceremony.

Obama received the loudest sustained cheers from thousands who chanted his name.

That's classic coming from someone who worships the ground upon which Rush Limbaugh walks. Do you really want to take a trip down Rushbo memory lane, Regis? The man has mocked a freakin' Parkinson's patient and a child, among many others.

Having said that, the chant was tacky.

Are we sure it was liberals who chanted? From my understanding, the conservatives aren't too happy with W right now.

I won't say I was particularly impressed with the chant, but it wasn't as widespread or as loud or long as it could have been.

Just what the article says. When Bush was shown on the video screens and when he came on the inauguration stage, he wasn't given the warmest of welcomes.

I do think that's disrespectful to do to our former president, even though in my opinion his actions of the last 8 years definitely earned that treatment.

But...Regis, do you know the definition of the term hypocrite? Because you might want to look it up.

Bush is done, let it go, it's over.

New era, new future, new plans. Lets hope that the peacefulness and happiness continues. It's really nice to see so many people happy.

Sin, i see you have 18 post....so welcome to the board.

I think you'll notice that a lot of people here will rib Regis a lot about Bush because during Bush's entire 8 years in office, he blamed everything that Bush did wrong on Bill Clinton or any other liberal that walked the face of the earth.

What Regis gets on this board is well justified.
