The further we get from November, the happier I am that we have Obama in office. Not just because I feel we have someone trying to make things transparent, and we have someone actually willing to do the job, but also because I don't know still what to make of McCain.
Sometimes he seems to be trying to do his part for bipartisanship, and other times he's still sniping at Obama.
The main thing that caught my eye about that today is his talk this week about pork spending. A day or two ago, he accused Obama of playing politics as usual, saying he hadn't lived up to his campaign promise (I tend to think ina month-plus he's done what he could have). But then today he and Feingold had a joint presser going after congress about it... Essentially McCain came out blaming his peers for what a day before he was blaming Obama. Which is it?
