So ....thoughts on the album??

Now that it is officially released and after several listens, how is it? I haven't had a chance to pick it up yet, but I plan on doing so tomorrow after work. I've been so busy, I haven't even seen the Letterman performances yet..just caught bits and pieces as my daughter was watching it on youtube.

I agree, Letterman & GMA were great. Their new stuff always has to grow on me, same for this one. Liking it more the more I listen.

I picked up the CD on Sun., I haven't listened to the whole thing yet straight through, but so far, I like it.
I think it has a very fresh sound but still maintains that unmistakeable U2 sound - I find some of the lyrics a little complicated, not easy to " Sing along to" , but like anything new - It grows on you

I agree with Murphy. Growing on me way faster than WOAD and unlike that album, I can see many of these being played live and in a form that's likeable....
