Anyway, Britney is this generations icon and her career and personal troubles represent this generation, for better or worse.

...for what?

She's one of our generations biggest icons, absolutely. But when I think "poster child" I think someone who represents otherse. Britney in no way represents her entire generation, she's both the fantasy and the nightmare, but she doesn't represent most people her age.

Yes.

She has lack of morals, doesnt have good judgement, no family values, thinks most traditions are a joke....is uninspired to make the world a better place...easily persuad to do and beleive anything.

That this generation....she pretty much sums it up.
If people wanted to see what this generationlooked like....check out brit career. Its all about partying and drink and not creating any type of movements to make a change in this declining culture

True. Its also about people doing whatever they want without caring so much about the consequences. People are more honest with each other and less ashamed to be themselves... but thats probably because this generation doesn't really care about discovering themselves so theres nothing to be ashamed about.
We do what we want, when we want. Society spoils us.

But I don't think its a 'declining culture'. Its just a more open society without a strong sense of religious morals.

I very much disagree. I think you find that in nearly EVERY generation at this age. In your 20s, you're all about satisfying yourself and experiencing what you can. Kids in the 60s were considered the downfall of society. Same with the casual-sex-drug-disco lifestyle. Same with your indulgant-obsessed groupies and rock stars in the 80s.

The only reason we see more of it today is because of reality shows and the internet. But most young people I know are not like that at all, and if they are it's for a brief period of time.

In ten years, our generation will be more settled, and a lot of these superficial partiers will be tied down with real responsibilities. Unless they become independently wealthy, I doubt they'll maintain the frivolity they have now.
