it was our first and only one of the year, we didn't have a fire drill for some reason. We're very lucky a lot of the "party" dorms get one every other night lol.

I'm about to download photoshop. I have this idea for an amazing Aaron graphic. I feel the need to vent myself artistically.

Who knows, maybe I'll send it to him in the future. Not now though. He wouldn't really care, probably. I did send him this one last year and he LOVED it! I was so happy he put it on his MySpace right away. :D

Most definitely! I was shocked when I found out who did it. The cops never did show up at my house, which doesn't shock me. The law system in my two sucks anyway. But to have my situation come up in a thread on LD, to find out the cops got called, I was shocked. When I found out this friend did this for me, it gave me a new level of respect for them. It meant that they paid attention to me and knew that my behavior wasn't really me and something was wrong. I can't thank them enough for that.

It's just sooooo frustrating. I've been singing since I was like six. I started in church and then school. When I was in high school, my teacher would get sooo frustrated with me because I wouldn't open my mouth and sing. I would blend in and he felt I had too much talent to waste. As I got older, I grew more confident, but I'm classically trained. I'm like great...now what?

I got no idea what to sing this year. Hell, I dunno if I can even afford to go this year. Auditions start in July. I need something more me. I'm sick of everyone telling me to be a diva. My voice ain't a diva. LOL! My voice is pure. I sang in eight different languages. Whitney Houston ain't my vocal styles. I'm thinking maybe Norah Jones. My best friend tells me to sing country, but I'm too pitchy on country music. It's all throat singing, I can't control my voice that way. It's gotta come from the diaphragm.

I never wanted to win American Idol. In fact, I don't ever expect to even be in the top 24 of American Idol. I wanted to do it for the experience. My voice isn't really cut out for it. I agree. I hate to say it, but I think last year, my best friend was trying to sabotage me. She was auditioning as well. I had picked out "Natural Woman", but in a nice, flowy way like my voice goes. She kept criticizing me, saying I should stick to country. I knew in my heart that wasn't the right way to go. I sing country okay for karaoke. It's not audition material. I wound up getting nervous and sang "At Last" The song is too common and didn't show off my range. Needless to say, I regret that moment.

it's funny cause i was mentored in high school ...cause i was considered high risk to drop out or something (is it funny then that the other 2 girls were my best friends LMAO!!!) ...had to do heaps of extra work but it was kind of fun stuff and got out of normal class work to do it so i didn't mind at all

and i think i'm better for it ...except no it didn't stop 2 of us dropping out!! ...hmmm then i dropped out of my course too ...hmmm i need to learn to complete things LOL!!! but i know a lot of stuff i wouldn't otherwise know and the value of that knowledge
