Rightly or wrongly he guessed most of the callers would be ladies. I guess he just should have said "OK all I want all my fans to call me", but I don't think he meant any harm.

And what's neat is that he's not just saying "look for my album", but he's making small talk with the callers and trying to make a bond with them. And he put up with the hassle calls - ONTD has 10 pages of posts of people trying to annoy him; you have to figure other folks were making "prank" calls too.

yeah that makes it special. that he isnt just saying "buy my album. peace!" he actually talks to each person for a few seconds, and from what ive read, its making people's days. sure made mine lol

and oh I'm sure he gets tons of prank calls but probably just goes to the next caller. when I was watching him on UStream he kept getting a few unknown number calls and no one would be on the other line so he would go to the next caller. which makes total sense.

I Seriously doubt that he is segregating calls between male or female and taking whatever calls he can in sequence. I don't know about anyone else's phone but, least any phone i've had has not be equipped with a Caller male/female pre screen so that he would avoid any particular call. - I'm pretty sure this might have been a misunderstanding and, if you call back and manage to get thru any misunderstanding can be resolved.

He is fully aware he has Male fans and also foreign fans that don't speak english - but, im sure he is also taking their calls too - Now, maybe he may not totally understand them but, I think the fans get enough satisfaction making contact that words need be unsaid to gain joy of connecting.

Now, True at first, I was like? OK he finally went and lost it. - But, Now? Im thinking maybe this might not have been that bad of a idea. For several reasons.

He is actually hearing Direct from his fans- and. I think he hears Normal (well if OMG OMG OMG is normal-lol) but, average callers that arn't going "Yo Yo Yo Sup Bro-Yo gettin down wit da' beats -lets roll one"

And instead he is hearing 'OMG Aaron I missed you and I so loved this or that song and please get back to doing more" <hence? Directly from the fans what They Want- Not hearing from some (shall remain nameless) People shoving crap in his ears about doing rap out, bounce, wave dem arms in da air -crap

But, I think that what he is doing and taking the time to talk to people -even thou it may only be for a second or two, is turning out to be a very nice gesture on his side and, is deff giving him something to do and stay outta 'other' trouble.

Plus, using the cell is controlled and can be switched off anytime he chooses and the number can be changed or redirected at his choosing < so, yes its safe/convenient and controllable. And, Possibly just like me He might (cough) have 2 phone- one strictly for Personal and Work and the one he is using for Pleasure and Public Input - Lets face it folks- $100 a month unlimited and hands on something to do and one on one is Cheaper and Better than paying a PR firm over a grand a week for getting a dull neat crisp boring caller summary report sheet back.

God I love you Nutterz! *hugs* You are so right! That is how I felt after I spoke with him. It made me realize why I was such a big fan in the first place. It helped me put things in perspective and I agree that it could be a good thing. I just hope it doesn't distract him from his goals. I can't help but worry, but you are right, my friend. :)
