View Full Version : Aaron's Positivity Flow Thread

Alright, first of all I'm going to address something before I explain what this thread is for. I'm not gonna fluff things and pretend that there aren't any issues. Aaron's far from perfect that there's no way in hell I'm gonna make him appear that way. However, I am going to be supportive and push positivity in his direction. As I said in another thread, it's important to be cheerleaders and not soldiers. There is no war here. No need to be pulling out the big guns.

It's definitely a very good thing that Aaron is back in the studio again. This is the time we have to prepare for his lift off. The thing is, he's still in that preparation stage. It's hard to stay grounded when the excitement is in the air. I completely understand, as a fan, I really do. However, we gotta stick with him. If you run too far ahead, you're gonna become blind to things that are happening and mistake future plans for something that's already happening.

Okay, I'm rambling, sorry. LOL! It's the painkillers. Alright, main focus. I will be providing positive light on things, but realistic positivity. I'm trying to play peacemaker here. There's a lot of tension and I believe that there are ways to keep positive things going. No, I'm not jumping on "positivity bandwagon." I think we all know I've been known to be optimistic. I'm not gonna fluff things and make him out to be perfect because he's not. However, at the same time, I'm not gonna judge him for things that I don't know about. Everyone needs a positive force in their life. I don't care who you are, any breathing person needs a positive force. So, on that note. Let the positivity begin! :D

I'm not an undercover spy, first off. Second of all, I am a fan and that's why I'm here. Third of all, this was about positivity, not pointing fingers at anyone (no drama needed).

Yes, the UStream thing was really cool watch. I enjoyed it. It's really, really good to see him in the studio again. I'm very proud of him for that. Keep moving foward, AC! :)

“In essence, if we want to direct our lives, we must take control of our consistent actions. It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently.” -- Anthony Robbins

In other words, take everything in your life with stride. Take control of your life and everything in your life will be in control. Never allow to let anything slip. Consistent flow will allow you to move forward in life. The second you stop, everything in your control becomes out of your control. Never, ever give up. Keep moving one step at a time. Take that advice, Aaron, and you will be on top again. :)

Positive Thought of the Day 6/21/09:

The only person allowed to judge is God himself. We were made as humans and we all make mistakes. Never forget that your fellow brother or sister are not perfect; neither are you. Instead of kicking them while they're down, help them stand back up again. You might not feel the gratitude at first, but eventually when everyone has left them, they'll be happy you stayed by their side.

There's a lot of atheists and agnostics out there who won't agree with this "thought".

Positive Thought Of the Day 6/22/09:

A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. Don't cloud your judgment with negative thoughts. When there's a will, there's a way. You can do anything you put your mind to as long as you have faith. Never give up your dreams. Always do you best and even if you fail, you will never wonder "What if?"

Positive Thought Of The Day 6/23/09:

I'm in the worst mood. I got into a fight with a friend and they have no idea how annoyed I am with myself. However, despite how I feel, I do have a positive note for the day. Are you ready?

There comes a time when you must stand alone. One of the best learning tools of life is learning to work things out for yourself. Take a moment to look at yourself. Analyze your flaws and understand they are exactly as they stand...flaws. Remind yourself that you're not perfect and mistakes will often be made. Self awareness is the first step to having a healthy relationship with any person. If you don't have a good relationship with yourself, your relationships will fall because you haven't learned to be real with yourself. Whenever conflict comes knocking at your door, take a moment to redeem yourself. No battle can be won when you're injured. Instead of placing the blame on others, stop and look to see where you went wrong. Learn from those mistakes and grow as a person. Once you understand that life isn't about having your way, you'll thank yourself later.

Positive Thought of the Day 6/24/09:

"Love is blind; friendship closes its eyes." In any situation, the ones you fight against are the ones who care the most. A true friend never backs down from the challenge. Often times when you're in a serious bind, your true friends are the ones who never left you. If you have a friend who's in need, don't ever let go and don't ever give up. Even if they step away from you, reach out to them in any way you can. If you're the person in need, look around you. There is always someone who's looking out for you, even when you think you're alone. True friendship is the one that never strayed from you in the first place.

Positive Thought of the Day 6/30/09:

You must be capable of changing and rearranging your priorities so that your final goal can be achieved. You will learn that doors open faster when you make sacrifices. Don't focus on the big picture, break it down into pieces. When opportunity sees you doing something unselfish, opportunity will come knocking at your door. Stop for a minute and ask yourself, "What's one selfless thing I can do today?" The more you do for others, the less self absorbed you become. It's okay to set goals for yourself, but let others help you achieve them. Sometimes it pays to knock your ego down a couple of notches before you can receive your reward.

Positive Thought Of The Day: 7/4/09

Today's positive thought is inspired by this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSVp04a0BKM

My grandmother was a very wise woman. She used to tell me, "Find a rainbow and live your world of dreams. Always remember life is better than it seems." It wasn't until I grew older that I understood what she meant by that. As human beings, we're going to go through struggles. These struggles are what mold and shape into the people we grow to be. I'm a firm believer in karma as well as life tests. I believe we are all given obstacles for a purpose. It's up to us to make the best of a situation while we work our way through the turmoil. We're all much stronger than we realize. Nothing is ever too hard to overcome and somewhere in this world, someone is having it far worse than you are. Instead of focusing on what's going wrong in your life, focus on what's going good. If you can find a ray of light into your life, you're going to find that you're more focused on getting out of your bad situation. There is a solution to every problem. It's all a matter of what YOU want inside. If you throw in the towel then you're giving up on a million opportunities coming your way. Always keep heading that pot of gold of the end of your rainbow. Trust me...you will be glad you did when the reward has been recieved.

oh no sweetie. That's how my rents kinda treat me. They tell me I can't do anything when it comes to my dreams. In the beginning I wanted to do fashion design and no colleges or universities in Oklahoma offers it, because Oklahoma is gay. Except the sooners....i love my sooners lol

anyway, I wanted to go out of state and reached for my dream. There were actually several schools that wanted me down in Dallas and the only thing my rents succedded to do for me was bring me down. that was like two years ago. Now i'm going for my other dream is become a novelist. After I graduate, I plan to go back to school for fashion design and it is NOT going to be Oklahoma haha hooow could it???

so no that wasn't a stab Rachel and i'm sorry you thought that way. I saw the thought and thought that was what I wanted to hear. And so true and I need to not be so scared on doing that.

Always remember that karma is a bitch. Whatever you do to someone will come back three times full. Karma never sleeps. It's a continuous cycle of events that can make or break your life. Nobody likes a two faced person. Learn to be true to yourself and to others. If you snitch on someone, based on facts that you're not 100% about, it can lead to trouble. Don't make your problems worse by trying to make yourself look better. In the end, you'll look like a fool. Never assume that what you're doing is right unless you know every tiny detail you say is true. The small lie can lead to a snowball of trouble. It's always best to keep your thoughts to yourself if the details can't be backed up by proof.

Positive Thought Of the Day 7/12/09:

You must be capable of changing and rearranging your priorities so that your final goal can be achieved. No goal can be achieved without obstacles to stand in your way. If you mess up, dust yourself off and try another approach. Sometimes the answer is very simple. You just have to look at it from a different angle. Never give up on your dreams. Keep on trying until you run out of options. If a dream is worth fighting for...you'll never run out of options to begin with.

Positive Thought Of The Day 7/13/09:

Sometimes, familiarity and comfort need to be challenged. As human beings, we're given opportunities to make something of ourselves. However, somewhere along the way, we become lazy and make ourselves comfortable in a position. This usually causes our lives to come to a standstill. We don't move from our comfort zone and suddenly we realize that we never made it to where we wanted to be. Be brave and step out of that comfort zone. You'll be amazed at how much brighter that silver lining can be when you're thinking outside the box. Nothing is impossible. Take that word out of your vocabulary and make it POSSIBLE!

Hey, peeps! I'm back to the positive thoughts! I had to sit back and worry about my studying. Finals this week. Woot! :D Anyway, here's today's positive thought!

Positive Thought of the Day 7/22/09:

There are times when you must take a few extra chances and create your own realities. I've said before that nothing is impossible if you keep trying. Don't ever give up on achieving your dreams. Reality is what's right in front of you. Stop living your dreams in the fantasy land and make them happen in the reality. Don't allow yourself to store those dreams in the attic of your mind. Pull out those dust bunnies and brush off the cobwebs. Take a chance and find that spark that makes you dream come alive. Life is short. Live for your dreams. Even if you fail, it doesn't matter. Behind every risk you take is a door of opportunity waiting to be knocked on. Find that key and make it happen.

BSBSavedMyLife

Positive Thought of the Day 7/23/09:

Be strong enough to at least try to make your life better. Nobody ever said life would be easy. I am a firm believer in never giving up. The more you try, the stronger you grow. The more you learn from your mistakes, the smarter you become. Each and every step you take is the road you lead to achieving that goal. Whether it's something as simple as learning to bake a cake or something as large as earning a college degree, you have to make mistakes before you can achieve. If you fail, don't beat yourself up. Stop for a minute and ignore the harsh remarks from others who want to bring you down. The only person who is control of your life is YOU. Make the best of it. Do yourself a favor and for every day you wake up, count your blessings. Each step you take makes you stronger in your will to achieve. The day you stop believing in yourself is when you truly have failed. Failure is the demon that you must fight away from yourself. If you're strong enough to get out of bed each morning, you're strong enough to handle anything that comes your way. Give yourself some credit. We're all much stronger than we think we are to be. Life is worth the fight. Don't ever forget that.

BSBSavedMyLife
Jul 24th, 2009, 03:55 AM
Positive Thought of the Day 7/24/09:

Be confident enough that you won't settle for a compromise just to get by. If you settle then you are selling yourself short. No one should have to settle in anything they do. On occasion, you might have to semi-settle for something while you're waiting for a door to open. This is okay as long as you don't let it strap you down. Use it as a chance to plan, coordinate, and construct your next move. The more you prepare yourself, the better chance you have of achieving your goals. Wreckless thinking can lead to setbacks and destruction. Take your time with your goals. The better plan you make for yourself, the more likely the goals will become achievable. Learn, listen, and grow.

Positive Thought Of The Day 7/25/09:

Appreciate yourself by allowing yourself the opportunities to grow, develop, and find your true sense of purpose in this life. We are all put on this planet for a reason. Each and every one of us has a special gift. Use your gifts to make an impression upon the people you meet. Don't waste your life being angry and vengeful. Learn how to love and appreciate the things that count. You can never find true happiness unless you are happy within yourself. Remember that you are special and that you are worth knowing. Stop hiding in the corner and let people see the real you. Don't be ashamed of who you are. That is what makes you unique. March to the beat of your own drum and people will notice you. We were all meant to do great things. Stop selling yourself short and just reach for the stars. At least if you dream big, you'll stumble across something you weren't looking for. Consider it a blessing in disguise. Life wasn't meant to be predictable. Embrace the surprises.

Positive Thought of the Day 7/26/09:

Today's positive thought was inspired by one of Aaron's tweets. I hope you read into it with understanding that we're all special in our own ways.

Don't stand in someone else's shadow when it's your sunlight that should lead the way. Each and every one of us have been given a talent. Some of us are aware of those talents early in life while others struggle to find it. Understand that talent isn't about being better than anyone else. It's about taking your talent and making it a part of who you are. Talents don't always have to be something great. Sometimes the simple things you can use to help make this world a better place is all the talent you'll ever need. Your talents are yours and yours alone. Others might share a common talent, but rather than making it a competition, make yourself shine. Don't allow for someone to tell you that they're better than you. It's not about being better. It's about being proud of who you are and what you've accomplished. Stand up and make life worth living.

Sorry I've missed the past few days. I've not been feeling the greatest. Here's today's positive thought:

Positive Thought of the Day 7/29/09:

Work hard at what you like to do and try to overcome all obstacles. If you love something, you're going to try harder at making a success out of it. It becomes a joy and a challenge instead of a task. However, just like everything else in life, nothing is made to be simple. If it's simple, it's probably too good to be true. You have to prepare yourself for the inevitable. Never let up from your challenge because once you become lazy, you'll have to strive harder to catch up. Don't back down from improving on your skills. Embrace the challenge and make yourself succeed by having a little faith.

Positive Thought of the Day 7/31/09:

Laugh at your mistakes and praise yourself for learning from them. There is no possible way to survive this life without a little humor. Don’t take yourself so seriously that you forget how fun life can be. We all make mistakes. It’s only human for us to do so. The important thing to remember is that you’re allowed to make those mistakes. Learn and grow from them. Don’t beat yourself over the things you’ve done. Laugh about it and move on. Keep the lesson in your mind, but not the pain. You cannot stay positive with that hanging over your head. Mistakes happen. Live, laugh, love…often.

Positive Thought of the Day 8/1/09:

Quite possibly the best way to achieve positivity is to do something nice for someone else. For one moment, take your mind off your problems and help someone in need. Donate to a charity, send flowers to a sick friend, or call someone just to say hello. Smiling is contagious. Make someone else smile and you'll see that things aren't that bad. Besides, if we all did that, someone could make you smile in the process.

Positive Thought of the Day 8/2/09:

Feeling your emotions can be the most important thing you provide for yourself. Don't allow yourself to be swallowed by darkness, but don't be afraid to express yourself either. The only way to grow is to realize why you feel the things you do. Emotional growth is never an overnight process, but once you find it, you'll be at peace. Always remember there's a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow. Just keep striving to find it.

I'm sorry I missed yesterday's positive thought. I had a friend in need and it required my full attention. I hope you understand. Anyway, here's today's positive thought. It's inspired by the problem that my friend came to me with. She knows who she is. I love ya, girl!

Positive Thought of the Day 8/4/09:

Take a moment to make a list of all the things you already have in your life. Look at those things and be thankful that you have them. Now make a list of things that you don't have in your life. Look at those things and be thankful that you don't have them. Why do I say this? Because if you already had everything you wanted in life...you'd have nothing to look forward to. Be thankful that each day can bring you something new to enjoy. Life is full of surprises, be happy that you're alive to experience them.

Positive Thought of the Day 8/5/09

Assumption is the society's biggest flaw. Learn to stop and think before you react. As human beings, it's only natural to become emotional when bad things come your way. Take a moment to think, ask questions, and find out the details. If you assume, that only leads to trouble. Breathe and listen to the facts before stirring the pot.

I held off on Positive Thoughts while Twitter was down. It was gonna make my Twitter account behind if I did. Anyway, it's working for the moment, so here's today's thought.

Positive Thought of the Day 8/8/09:

"Find a rainbow and live your world of dreams always remember life is better than it seems." I love this quote and it's completely true. This is what I do when things start to get too heavy for me. I stop and think about how much worse my life could be and then I am thankful that I am not in that situation. Life is never easy, but if you can find that one small, tiny ray of light in your situation, it makes all the difference in the world. Always remember that things could always be worse. Stressful day at work? Be thankful you have a job. Having financial troubles? Be thankful for the things you can afford. There's always a positive way to look at things. Keep your chin up and you'll ride through those rough waters like a champion.

Positive Thought of the Day 8/9/09:

We all want to be intelligent and know as much as possible. Some people are harsh on themselves if they aren't an expert on every topic. The positive way to look at this is that be thankful you don't know everything. The more you don't know, the more room there is to learn and grow. So, learn all you can in this life. It's the only way to grow as an individual.

Positive Thought of the Day: 8/11/09

It's always easy to be negative when times are hard. We often times want to forget our past mistakes and start over. Unfortunately, in reality, we cannot turn back time. It's important that we hold on to our past and learn from those mistakes. Your past is the doorway to your future. Never forget where you came from and how you get where you are today. Take a moment to look at your life right now. Have you moved forward or stepped backwards? If you've stepped backwards, think about all the things you were doing right in the past and use it as a tool to move forward. If you've moved forward, look at your past as the reason as to why you've came to that accomplishment. Don't ever regret, just accept. Regret only leads to guilt and guilt leads to setbacks. It's better to have tried and failed that to have not tried at all. Remember that...you'll be more positive if you do.

I know I've not been around much to do the positive thoughts. I've been really swamped with school. I've not had much time to think of any new things to write about. Here are some cute one liners that might perk up your day!
