Okay, so how about we keep all the news and related news regarding Britney's new album in here. That way we can stay up to date on Miss Spears.

This forum needs to come alive. I am so surprised that this forum is not more busy since Britney is doing so much and has many fans.

Anyways, lets get on to the news:

NEWS

The new CD will be called "The Singles Collection" and will be a 2CD set from her 10 year career. Also, a DVD will be released as well.

There has been a date released for October 23rd in Australia. I am sure the date will be sooner for the US. Now, there will be two versions of the CD set...a standard one and a Multi-Disc box set. Supposedly, there will be b-sides. Also, there will probably be less than six new songs but there will be a lead single that will come from that CD that will be released and there will be a video for it.

Also, rumor has it that Miss Spears will be performing at the VMAs this September on MTV. Maybe she will be performing a new single from the new album. :music:

Britney will have two unreleased songs from the "Circus" album on the Singles Collection CD.

I hope we don't get another GH soon. Thats not a good idea..we just had one recently. Now, a dvd of the tour with some bonus songs or something would be cool.

That's actually the first I've heard of it. Great news. Not sure what the rush is-like she only released a new album not even a year ago. Maybe just trying to get some stuff out there before she takes a long break.

Yea. I still think we're getting a DVD though.

The GH: Singles Collection is probably going to be released to support the tour, since the majority of the songs she performs on tour aren't even from the "Circus" album.

yeah but the tour hardly includes any of her 'greatest hits' either (At least not when i saw it in the UK, i know shes makin a few changes now). It's mostly songs from Blackout!

So...this time From the Bottom of my Broken Heart and Don't Let Me be the Last to Know will be included? And some new songs.

If there's like at least 5 new songs, I'll buy it. I didn't buy the GH.
