Enjoy your new quarterback.

Just keep your pets locked up at home.

You suck, Dave. I'm so pissed about this.......

Damn beancounter can't give a guy like Brian Dawkins another million, but he can sign this turd? :redmad:

On the other hand, it does give us TWO quarterbacks better than Eli. :p

I'm sorry... Do either of them have a shiny nice Super Bowl ring?

Like that was HIS doing.

A defense learned at the feet of Jim Johnson, a couple of dropped interceptions, and an amazing catch off a helmet (Eli couldn't find his hands) won that ring for him.

Just like Donovan's only SB appearance came with TO on the team.

Difference being, Eli needed the entire other side of the ball (of BOTH teams) helping him.

Surely you're not really going to try to argue that he's that good?

No, I'm going to bring this back to topic and only argue that at least he hasn't killed any dogs.

That's because he IS a dog! :hah:

Oddly, a poll by one of the local news outlets is running against hiring Vick, but only by 51% - 49%. I would have thought it would be far more opposed than that, especially since the negatives ought to be voicing their opinions early. And while I'm not particularly enthused, and I believe the man is scum, I also support giving convicts a second chance once they've paid their dues. Now, that doesn't necessarily extend to a multimillion dollar job in the public eye, but it's most likely the only (legal) thing Vick knows. Plus, our head coach is also quite a believer in giving second chances to those who have served time, for obvious reasons.

I do like the idea of having a backup for McNabb who might be capable of success. ;)

I still say put him in a cage with a collar on and chain him to the cage walls, then some pit bulls should be introduced in there with him and see what happens ... karma's a bitch as they say ... and in this case LITERALLY! *smirks*
