View Full Version : Future BTM...

Short Chris

Last night on television I managed to see NSync do voices on "The Simpsons" as well as the Doobie Brothers on Behind The Music. For those of you who didn't see either show, Simpsons was hilarious and for a real change, excessive drug use partially destroyed a rock band.

But then I got to thinking what would the "NSync: BTM" episode be like? I was going to post it over in the NSync forum but they seem pretty busy with the Grammys being unfair, so I decided to ask you guys.

LOL . . . Grammys unfair . . . how unusual. ;)

The NSYNC: BTM would have to have something about their relationship with Lou Pearlman . . . . Maybe something too about one of them wanting to go solo. (No, I don't have inside information, only speculation that somebody might want to go solo . . . Justin, JC.) Chris and his hair, maybe his tension at being so much older than the rest of them . . . or lack of tension b/c of the age difference. Joey eats a pizza and Lance tells us, once again, that he from Mississippi.

I figure to feature promininently, though not in a Yoko kind of a way. :D

They were funny on the Simpsons, weren't they? I just curse them for sending JC to the Navy instead of...say, Joey.

BTM: With the birth of the first of the next generation of Nsync, Nsyncers found themselves having to slow down. The back to back tours and albums were wearing on them as was the constant pressure to continually change their hair and come up with funky fresh dance moves. In a move reminiscent of Steve Perry, Justin attempted a solo album on the side that broke the top-10 but failed to recreate the magic that was *Nsync. Occupied with other interests, Joey turned to acting to give his life more stability after settling down while JC holed up in the studio producing and writing for other artists. Chris's clothing line became the rage of the nation and the fifth member, Lance Bass returned to Mississippi and his country music roots. With that, the NSyncer's were no longer in sync. They found it harder to schedule production time together and tour plans failed to materialize as each worked on their own productions. Years later they would survive heartache and a shattering blow that threatened to end the band forever to come together for a new album and reunion tour that would shock the country, revitalize harmony and set the music world on its ear....as Behind the Music continues...

I knew I missed something last night.

Not being on the NSYNC board anymore is good for my heart, but bad for my knowledge of related appearances.

They will have a BTM...and I'm sure it will be very dramatic. Justin/Britney, Joey's baby, Lou Pearlman, oh it will just be so exciting...

Will there ever be a New Kids On The Block BTM, is what I'd like to know.

There better be.

Somehow, I predict that all of 'N Sync will be working at Dollywood after the rapture in one capacity or another.

OK, I've given this a great deal of thought ...

*NSYNC breaks up because of in-fighting and Lance's secret crush on JC.

Justin goes solo and his first CD does well, but he cannot achieve the success he had when he was with *NSYNC, so he turns to drugs. Britney leaves him because he has no teeth and lives in a sleeping bag outside the Grand Ole Opry.

JC eventually marries his present girlfriend who spends all of his money on things such as diamond can openers and Richard Tyler sweaters for her Chow. He tries to bring more money in by producing other acts, but cannot keep up with the “Black Hole” as he has dubbed her. She leaves him for Aaron Carter who becomes the next David Hasselhoff in Germany.

Chris’ clothing line does well for a couple of years until someone realizes that he is a 30-something year old man designing clothes for pre-teen and teen girls and they see it is wrong on so many levels.

Joey goes into acting and does well. He is fired from an acting job because he is found in his dressing room with his tongue in the ear of the Director’s wife. A career limiting move. He goes into adult movies and his stage name is Buck Lykafunny.

Lance would really like to go back to Mississippi after the break up of *NSYNC, but cannot remember where the state is and is too embarrassed to ask anyone because he talked so much about it. He gets a job at an IHOP and a kindly lady from Jackson, Mississppi takes pity on him and drives him home where he lives with his mother.

In 2015 they reunite and go on tour for a year and then return into oblivion.

NikDC

The Black Hole is an affectionate term. Like My Darling or Sweetheart. :D

And I'm sure Aaron was a temp thing...blondes aren't usually my style.

vester
Feb 26th, 2001, 11:19 AM
That's right. Or he could call you BHDC.

Chris, is an attempt to become more hip (if that's at all possible) would you consider changing your name to L'il Chris?

Short Chris
Feb 26th, 2001, 11:42 AM
Vester, I think "hip" is beyond the realm of possibilities. And unfortunately, I believe that truth in advertising would demand some moniker like "big fat ass Chris" rather than "L'il Chris".

vester
Feb 26th, 2001, 11:54 AM
I highly doubt that.

iggy
Feb 26th, 2001, 12:11 PM
Chris, have your kids reached the stage yet where they have you drop them off down the block so their friends don't see you? That is a good yardstick for hipness.

Short Chris
Feb 26th, 2001, 12:16 PM
Only the eldest seems to be reaching that stage. I think I have a few more years before they are all embarrassed by me. Woo-yeah, teenage years here we come!

vester

I will cry the day my daughter wants me to walk 3 paces behind her at the mall.
I should phone my mother now and apologize for doing things like that.

iggy
Feb 26th, 2001, 12:31 PM
I plan on wearing an "I (heart) My Kid" t-shirt with their picture on it once my kids are teenagers and want to go to the mall. Even a few paces behind, there's not getting away from the shirt. Then I'll make them go around the food court with me and ask for free samples from every place.

vester
Feb 26th, 2001, 12:36 PM
Very nice, iggy.

When I was in junior high/high school, my best friend's father was brilliant at embarrassing us. He would talk loud in restaurants saying, "We're the LOUD FAMILY" a la Saturday Night Live. "HEY, PASS THE SALT, WE'RE THE LOUD FAMILY."

It's funny now. Then, not so much.

I went to a comedy club and a martini bar last Saturday with a few people obviously all from The Loud Family. But you couldn't hear them that much if you stuck your entire head in the glass. The worst is going to Europe and realizing how loud and crass Americans are. No wonder the French hate us.

vester
Feb 26th, 2001, 01:17 PM
Oh, ISOJ, I didn't realize that. She seems so not loud on here. :)

iggy, come to Canada. The loud Americans stand out here too.

Oh and NSYNC is going to be playing the Metrodome...how frightening is that?

insearchofjustin
Feb 27th, 2001, 11:45 AM
I don't remember the last concert that played at the Metrodome. Artists fear that place because it makes them sound so horrible. Apparently NSync doesn't care how crappy they sound, they just want to sell a lot of tickets and get in and out in a day.

Who's got the dreamy eyes? Can we guess?
