I've been a fan since 1995 when Muchmusic in Canada first aired their video "Get Down".As you know,Canada has known the BSB longer than the US,and i find it pretty cool we got them all to ourselves for awhile,until they became super BIG in America..lol.I'm happy with all the things they've accomplished.I mean,look at Nick,he grew up with the group.He was like 13? And now he's 21! They've been together for awhile.I'm proud of them.All the rumours about them breaking up,it hasn't happened.*knock on wood*(don't wanna jinx them now).They've made it to be one of the biggest groups of all time,breaking records here and there,making all their fans happy..i'm so happy with all the success they have.I know they'll last a long time.

So,to Nick Carter,Brian Littrell,Howie Dorough,AJ McLean,and Kevin Richardson..thank you for bringing us good music..you've opened the doors for all the boybands out there,but i don't consider you a boyband anymore..more like "musical geniuses" LOL ;) KTBSPA forever!!

And, to satisfy my own curiosity, what in the world did you get tattooed on your leg? I've been trying to figure that one out.

well considering you'll probably be the one NOT reading this.. I can be as honest as I want. It really sucks that you avoid the fans.. and since I'm a fan, I would be one of the people you avoid. Thanks, that really makes me feel special inside. You did it last tour, so I figured, well maybe he's just having a bad day.. but it continued throughout the whole thing, so I thought, Hmm maybe you're just having a bad year. So when B&B started I was all pumped, since you're the only one that I haven't met, I was convinced that I might at least catch a glimpse.. Needless to say, it wasn't happening. Ahh well, you can't win them all, I guess. You're not digging this fame thing anymore are you? But hey, just so this doesn't end on a negative note, Congrats on the Marriage. Did my invite get lost in the mail or what.. that's ok, It's probably the same place your wedding gift is. I wish the two of you, many years filled with happiness.

I'm loving the Jesus look you've got going on.. It's working for you. Just a little question, why did you bust out of the hotel in Atlanta cloaked from head to foot and then got escorted by like 3 police to your bus? That was odd.. Speaking of, did you see those homemade BSB dolls on a stick? THOSE were odd, I was trying to figure out why yours was holding a blue dress in its hand, and Kevin's was holding a jug of moonshine. Weird..... Keep up the great work with the Lupus foundation, I went to the benefit last June, it's a great cause. Did you know George Jefferson was a little tattered though, you might want to cut back on celebrity alcohol intake regulations next time. And hey, thanks for holding back on the winking.

ehhhh, I don't really have anything to say to you. Congrats on the marriage. And thanks for being the most "fan-friendly" It means a lot to people when you take the extra moment that you could be doing something else and stop to sign a piece of paper, or let someone take a picture of you even though you really aren't in the mood. I know it's an every day occurrence to get mobbed by people all just wanting a little of you. But it means the world to the one person you take time for. I've seen you get on your hands and knees to talk to a child, that in itself speaks volumes to me.

Where to begin?? So many things to say.. so few ways to edit myself. You're a beautiful man. I've only come face to face with you a handful of times, but you've always been very giving of yourself. What's the deal with you getting random words tattooed all over your body though? That's up there with the Nick hair in braids thing, Not understanding it at all. This tour, you've been kinda down and it seems that you're trying to avoid people, which bites for me. (Here's a quick bitch session, I stood outside the hotel in Atl for hours and only got to touch your hand, before Marcus pulled you away. And of all the dumbluck my friend took only a single picture and my damn hand was in the way. Ahhhhh, I'm cursed!) Sometimes I think you give so much of yourself to everyone else, that you have none left for you. I wish you could see yourself, the same way I see you.. You really are a beautiful person. Stop giving yourself (your love, your body, your peace of mind) away for free. Make the next person work for what you have to give them... by the way, are you accepting applications?.. You deserve much better than to settle for anything. I just had a genius idea(they come so often)..feel free to contact me to be your official ego booster of the Black and Blue Tour (see I even gave myself a title).. Whenever your feeling crappy about yourself, you can call for me, and I can reassure you with positive little phrases like.. you're wonderful, you're beautiful, you're amazing, there's no one like you... ehhhhh then again, maybe not.
Love the whole Johhny No Name thing you've got going on, been to a couple of shows.. of course none of them closer than 8 hours away. (When will the South get recognized?!) Went to the New Years bash.. Next time, at general admission, Please don't leave us standing bunched up for 2 hours with no water while your opening acts chug it down, that was painful. But since I ended up front row, I'll keep my complaints down to a minimum. Well that's about all I have to say..

BSB- Thank you for keeping it real, for telling us things how they are and for allowing us a glimpse of the real you (Rolling Stone and MTV Diary). Thank you for your music, specifically the songs written by yourselves. Thank you for bringing me some of the best friends I'll ever have, our love for five talented men and their music being the first stepping stone to beautiful friendships. You guys have my admiration and respect with all you have been through and how well you have seemed to handled it all. And I am incredibly relieved that you guys took that well deserved break this summer, your fans want to see you as much as possible but above all we want you to be sane and healthy. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face with your music, your voices, yourselves.

Kevin- Tell Carlos to chill out but seriously thank him for keeping you safe. Thank you for being so sweet and generous with your time no matter how tired you are etc. Thank you for realizing how much a single smile can mean to a fan. Don't let that other group get to you, your TRUE fans have stuck by you through thick and thin and always will. One thing that worries us though is your lack of solos on Black&Blue, please never underestimate the beauty of your voice. Pour your heart out on that piano but please let us hear your wonderful voice as well! And hun next time warn a girl before you nearly kill her with that intense on stage persona :eek:

Nick- When someone asks you to pose with them, switch the bags to your other hand please, it would've saved me some embarassment :p. Thank you for the hug and the smile. And it's nice to see you smiling again, I may not know you personally but it makes me feel better to see you happy.

Brian- Thank you for the smiles and waves during concerts. Remember your fans love you and would love to see you in person as well, without getting whiplash. Some of us would just like to thank you for everything, give some of us a chance. One last thing, thank you for sharing your talent with us, thank you for sacrificing so much. We do appreciate it.

I want you peeps to know that I am not the biggest BSB fan in the world. I don't have all of your singles and videos and pictures and action figures. But, what I do have is great admiration for the music that you have provided me over the last 3-4 years of my life.
For the first quarter of my life, I only listened to R&B, hip-hop and rap. Then I heard your debut American album, I instantly fell in love with those lyrics, those harmonies, that music. I grew weary of the reality which some of my favorite artists, such as TLC, Mase, and Mary J. Blige, were singing. I was only sixteen, I wanted to listen to music which made me feel like I was sixteen, not thirty. That's what your albums provided me with, youth, an escape, a group of five guys who didn't want me to "shake my rump" or "back that thang up". Ugh!! It was clean enjoyable music that made me feel better about myself.
Now that I have become an eighteen-year-old young woman, however, I listen to music in general, and want to hear about an artist's reality. I want to learn what their life is like and what they have learned over the course of their lives.
As pop entertainers though, I would miss the fun youthful music which you've been singing over the last few years. On the other hand though, I feel so sad when I hear of the horrible occurrences which happened to you guys over the last few years and I wonder why you've never mentioned it in your music? Musicians such as Duke Ellington and John Lennon wrote music from their hearts, making the music so much more meaningful than not. You guys are so amazing, not only singers but songwriters and even producers, I would love to hear Backstreet Boys music, from the Backstreet Boys, not anyone else. You have withstood time in the music industry and I know that you can continue to.
As long as the music is real, the music will be good.
You seem to be one of the only artists left who care about what your music is, what it represents. You're not concerned with all that flash, that glitz, that glamour. Perhaps it's because I'm biased and view you peeps as better than what you really are, but what I see as true is your music. Keep the music as the top priority and everything else will fall into place. That's my theory anyway. I wish this was written better but I only have a limited time to write this.
By the way, Howie, as a Catholic, I definitely see the resemblance with Jesus Christ Superstar, a Latino Christ anyways. We don't know what he really looked like though, he he.

And also, you need to ditch Max, because the simple fact that you're sharing songwiters with Britney and 'nsync, when you are in such different leagues, is appalling to me. Well I just want to say that you guys mean the absolute world to me. I don't even know where to start. Your music has gotten me through so many tough times. Lets just say that your wonderful music and your beautiful voices came to me at a time when I really needed it. When I was 18 I was having some really bad family problems and it had me feeling very depressed. I didn't want to do anything but sleep. Then I heard Quit Playing Games on the radio. I don't know what happened but something inside me clicked. Maybe it was your beautiful voices blending together or the soothing melody of the song but whatever it was it changed everything for me. I kept hearing the song over and over again and each time I loved it even more. Everything has been downhill since and I haven't looked back. I guess you could say that you guys gave me something to believe in. Even now 3 years later when I have a bad day all I have to do is listen to the music and everything just melts away. My darkest days now have some light because of all that you have done. So to AJ, Brian, Nick, Kevin and Howie Thank You for giving me hope and for giving me a reason to smile everyday.:)

Wow....so much to say so little space and time i have.

First off, I've been a fan since almost day 1. Do you remember preforming at Doylestown High School in Ohio..yea my best friend was there. She told me about it and the following weekend at the Rollercade they gave out samples of your songs. I still have that tape today. I have all the cds of you i can find.
Also 2nd..my friend David died on August 23rd 1999. He loved you. In fact, he brought my pride back to the fullest when he was alive. I still loved ya but i wasn't the biggest fan than. When we lost him I cried every time i heard "I Want It That Way," because it was his fave song. Everyone that knew him cried to that sing. In fact, I met him where I got that tape at the Rollercade. Till this day I still go there and listen to IWITW in memory of him.

I have to say first and foremost, that I love all you guys! :) You are all amazing! And after going to the concert in NY last month, I have a newfound apperciation for you. I saw you in concert and realized how great you REALLY are. I've been a fan for years and yet the closest I got to you guys (until last month) was my TV screen. I always was a BSB "fanatic", but I never realized how great you all truly were until I went to see you for myself at one of the NY concerts. Right there before my very eyes were The Backstreet Boys, and god knows I love very second. Anyways... at that moment gained more of an apperciation for what you do.

You guys are entertainers, that's what you do for a living, but the way you interact with your fans on and off stage is amazing. I can truly see that you care about them. That's probably what I love the most about you guys. However, what you guys do in your free time (god do you have any?)is your business, who you date is private and agian YOUR business, no one else's. And, I do know that if a bunch of screaming girls were coming my way I'd blot. I can only imagine how hard it is having relationships while being in the public eye, it only puts so much stress on things. But you deserve some free time and everyday liberties that we take for granted, and I understand (along with many others) that you do need your privacy, and you would like to be able to go out once in a while and not get mauled by crazed fans.

My babe! God, how you've changed. I loved the uhh "mushroom" cut ya had, and though I tried to resist, the spikey thing soon won me over. But hon, I do have question, what is that thing you have under your chin??? I comes and goes, but never stays around long enough for me to figure out what it is. HOWIE: Love the hair! I have a question though, do you plan on returning to "Roswell" as a guest star (as I am a huge fan of that also)? They left us just hanging there last year with the words "It has begun". What is that??? What exactly has begun? Granted I should be asking the shows writers that question, not you, but maybe your return would lead to an answer to that question. And who were you? Did your character even have name? Are you an evil alien? An unknown ally? One of the bodies the aliens occupy? Kivar? Please come back to the show for at least an episode or so.

AJ: Glad to see ya have some facial hair back it was scary :eek: seeing you without it. LOL, I loved the corn rolls, they seemed to be very popular amoung fans.

Ok, I will try to keep this relatively short. You guys mean so much to me. And now, I'm kicking myself for missing out on so many years of your career. Why couldn't I have been as psyched for Millennium release as for B&B? and when my friends found out you were coming to Albany for the Millennium tour, we decided to go. I didn't know that the concert would have such an impact on my life. It was so awesome!! I knew it would be good, but I didn't know it would turn me into such a huge fan!(my mom said I'd grow out of this phase, but I don't think so:D) It was really one of the best experiences of my life! I just want to let you know that your music is so awesome, and touches so many people's lives all across the world. Please don't ever stop doing what you are doing!

Well for starters, Thank You all so much. You have helped me in so many ways and made each one of my days a little brighter with you smiles, anitics and songs. You guys are truly gifted and anyone that would dare to call you a boyband obviously doesn't know what they are dealing with. I mean c'mon, after all it isn't like you're boys... or in a band... Kevin – I hate saying this coz I feel like im using this for sympathy or something but I wanted to thank you and I cant without explaining why so here I go… a while ago (gosh like 4 ½ years now) my dad had cancer and because im not too close to my mom at all it really tore me apart, especially as I had to hide that I knew as it was a bit of a secret I found out via a stray letter. I didn’t really like talking about it so knowing that someone (although I didn’t know you at all) had had the same kind of experience helped me a lot. Reading you’re biography, listening to you speaking about it… it all helped. Thankfully, my dad survived and, although still having tests, as each one comes back clear, it’s less and less likely to come back. So thank you. and congrats on youre marriage to Kristin.. man you didn’t half keep HER a well-kept secret huh?

AJ – dude you are The Man. Hehehe. Youre another one who gives and gives and gives to the fans, and truly you cant know how much that means to us. Its almost as if you acknowledge each one of us, not just as fans, but as people. (I did mention the bearing with me didn’t I? Yes? Oh good) you put out such charisma and the fact that you can do just any song only proves that you, along with the rest of the guys are hugely talented. And please stop being so cool coz its so hard sticking to Nick ;)

Nick – try not to think of what im about to say as ‘sad’, but more… ‘expressive’ *cough cough* its this.. when you wrote the thank you’s in B&B liner notes, you said thanks to Bubba. Lol I know its for BJ but coz this is my SN for everything and im someone who looks for signs from fate, I took it as im GONNA meet you one day. And that makes me one happy bunny. I don't even know where to begin my letter, or how to get my feelings down onto paper. If you guys are actually reading my letter, I want you to know my sincerity is from the bottom of my heart, and that all 5 of you mean more then the universe to me.

It all started approximately 5 or 6 years ago. I turned on the radio and heard the most heavenly soothing voices that have ever entered my ears. Those voices happened to belong to you guys, The Backstreet Boys. It wasnt until a year or so later that I would realize that your voices would be so powerful as to lift my pain away, and give me hope. I have been through a very difficult experience in my life involving another human being who destroyed my heart, confidence, and almost took my life. Without your voices, determination, inspiration, faith, and ability to touch my life, I have no idea where I would be in my life right now. I probably would be a whole lot less embarressed and very unhappy. I want you to know my extreme gratitude that I hold very close to my heart for everything you have given back to me and given to others. You guys I honestly don't think have realized the sheer joy you have brought into peoples' lives, so I want my letter to be an extreme eye opener to all of you. You must believe it, because it is true. Thank you for the past 4 years of my happiness, amazing concerts in Chicago,and most importantly sharing your joy and your lives with millions. You are a true blessing from God.

I can't close my letter without giving a special shout out to the one man who has had the largest impact on my life. Brian, I can't even begin to explain to you what you have done for me. You have met so many fans who have treated you so poorly, but you haven't met some of the real fans out there, like me, who would do anything for a smile or wave from you. I have to thank you for coming over to me at the Chicago Black and Blue Concert (Monday Feb 12) when you were on the bridge. You may not remember me, but I will always remember you. I was the girl jumping up and down frantically waving both of my arms holding a red envelope for you. You saw me and walked over, and leaned over to me. I threw my envelope up to you, but it didn't go high enough. You are such a heartfelt man, that you stood there smiling and waving at me, which was a dream come true. I truly believe that even though my letter never reached you, that I can be assured that you got my message. I have been desperately trying to reach you, and I pray that somehow you read this letter. The only thing left to say to you, is Brian Littrell thank you. Thank you for touching my life in a way that no other human being has been able to. Your sacrifices in life has paid off not just for you, but for your fanbase as well. I thank God every night for giving me such a special angel as You. Wow...okay well I don't know who's actually going to end up reading this but even if no one does I think I'll feel better just getting the opportunity to say how much the guys mean to me. I'm not going to go on and on about why I love you guys so much b/c basically it's all been said in previous posts but I do want to say that I think you guys are the best! Keep being real! I love the fact that no matter how big you get you can all still manage to stay so down to earth and sweet, you may not know it but we all appreciate that genuinity and honesty so much. I think we all know that it's impossible for you to get back to all the fans that write you and to meet every fan who would like to meet you so with that in mind I just want to say that generally I think most fans understand that, and thank you for trying as hard as you do to give so many people the opportunity to get that chance and most importantly to enjoy your music. ok, so heres the thing.. I didnt win. But I want to tell you guys the story of me finding out. The contest was to get as many Burger King logos as possible and send them in. I sent in nearly 800. There were over 80,000 sent in total. The DJ announced the winner and called her over the air, where she said (ON AIR!) that she, her friends and her family, had sat in dumpsters cutting out these logos. The dj didnt say how many she had, so I called him and asked. He said "how many did you send in", and I told him, and then he said that she had sent in over 10,000! So I of course said she deserved it, and he was like "well did you hear what she did? She sat in dumpsters cutting them out" and we talked about that (and how although I like the BSB, thats crazy) and he put me on the radio (I hope she wasnt offended)

summary- I didnt win, the girl who did is nuts, but deserved it

Hey Kristi, is your radio dj aware of the fact that what the girl who won did is illegal, and it states on the Burger King Website that any logos obtained in a fraudulant matter(stealing) will be disqaulified and handed over to law enforcement? Im not trying to get all pissy because someone else won, but she broke the rules and laws, and doesn't deserve to win. The fact that she stated it on the air is somewhat bad judgement. Although, it looks as if the radio dj doesn't care about the official rules. That really sucks that people win by breaking laws, when others who try their best dont win. Have fun at your concerts tho!!

Anyways... if you are reading this! Oh, my Gosh!!! Ummmm... ok... I want to tell you that I love you guys so much and I hope that I see you sometime in concert, very soon. I haven't had a chance. But hopefully I will. Anyways, I want to ask you guys that it would be really nice for you guys to come over here to Anaheim again (the Arrowhead Pond) and do a concert. That would be one of the chances I could see you guys in concert. You guys haven't came to Anaheim since the last tour which I didn't get to go, I cried so much the day that you guys were here, and I was unable to go, cause I had no tickets. Anyways...Lots of fans would really be happy because some of us don't have rides to go all the way to a different city like LA or San Diego, and come to school the next day. Well, I hope I get to see you guys very soon.
