I got
3 Doors Down (The Better Life)! very kool CD
Red Hot Chili Peppers (Californication) at first when this CD came out I could not stand it but for some ungodly reason it has grown on me.

I had Stings new CD in my hand the other day (at Best Buy of course http://talk.livedaily.com/docs/wink.gif ) but chose to get Everclear instead. Track 3 kicks butt.

Wheatus is awesome. Teenage Dirtbag is just the icing on the cake.

Of course Matchbox Twenty is still in heavy rotation in my car.

Time to get some female voices in my car... Madonna here I come.

ok first off most of you know that that kind of music is not at the top of my list but I have said before I feel like I am crossing over and I have been listening to 3 doors down for about 1/2 hour and I have NOT wanted to turn it off! (That is a good thing belive me) I almost did not buy it because the guy at the CD store could not tell me if it was good or not all he said was it has been a good seller and I bought it and I like it! Loser is good but I like Kryptonite & Smack too. this is a must have CD!

I was over on CDNow looking at CD's and they have this release on sale from a band called Fourplay. Anybody every heard of them? The name of the CD is "Yes Please". And no, I am not making this up.

I'm laughing at the the thought of Garnet typing "Fourplay" into a little box and clicking on the search button.

CD website or not... the thought is funny as hell.

Okay all, I love Jazz music. So garnet, your eyes are not messing with you. There is a band called Fourplay, and Yes, Please is their latest release. I've seen them a few times at Jazz festivals. They've been around a long time and are really good.

Quit kidding around...but it is funny, huh?

What's funny is that it says:

Fourplay
Yes Please

Sounds too Austin Powersish to me http://talk.livedaily.com/docs/biggrin.gif

Fourplay would be a good boyband name. Just think all the pre-teens wouldn't even know what it meant.

If I'm not a big fan or Krytonite (sp?), would I still like it? Let me know please.

I've got my calender set for Oct 3 when the new Robbie Williams CD comes out in the States. Can't wait for that!

Awesome CD that rocks is the Black Crowes 1990-2000. Chris Robinson is amazing (as evidenced by his BTM on VH1).

I don't listen to the alternative stations much at all. However, I heard one song I believe was called "Knock on Wood" (not the disco version). It was your basic alternative sound but was prominent with brass background licks. Does anyone know this song and the group? I may want to purchase this.

Great, now I have the disco version in my head.

Where are my roller skates and headband when I need them?

Wahoo-ah wahoo-ah

for the life of me Ms. Alternative can not think of the name of that song but I do know it was in the movie Krippendorf's Tribe.

You know there used to be a chain of independent record stores in the UK called 4Play...

Um, I have to come out and admit that the new album I love at the moment is Nerf Herder's "How To Meet Girls". Very silly indeed, but I can't resist it. I defy anyone not to smile at the track "Pantera Fans In Love"!

And yeh, on a technicality, I think the album came out in the US last year, but it's new in Europe.

I don't know if it RAWKS or not, but the New Jimi Hendrix Experience definately ROCKS. 50+ previously unreleased live and studio tracks. As a bonus the CD's are packaged in a very nice Purple paisley embossed box. Man, I love paisley. If you don't own any Hendrix this might be the deal to get.

Speaking of great road rage music, check out the cd by U.P.O called No Pleasantries...they sound like Alice in Chains and Soundgarden...good heavy metal stuff.
