Bruce showed up at Jack's Music!

What a thrill!! In a word AWESOME!! He was so nice. He signed cd's, talked to people on cell phones, posed for pictures. I will not sleep tonight!

He came in the back door just after midnight. They announced a new register was open in the music room and while you are there go meet Bruce. The crowd moaned, no one believed it...but I saw that baseball cap from where I was and ran!
He is too cool!
Can't wait for the HBO special!!!!!!

Jacks is in Red Bank, on Broad Street.
They had a midnight sale, started at 11:30 giving out t-shirts, hats and lithographs. Had a big countdown at midnight.

Hey I live 10 minutes from Jack's and I didn't go. But someone I know did, and he called me from the store and bruce came on the phone and asked me where I was! Hysterical! I'll have my autographed cd though. Bruce is a piece of work.

Yes I was at both Denver shows! How are you?? This is all true. My friend called me from his cell phone, and tells me someone wants to talk to me and Bruce gets on the phone. I guess he was doing that all night for people. I was actually arguing with him that it wasn't him ...funny!!! My friend told me there were photographers there from the Asbury Park Press. This will all be in the paper either tomorrow or the Wednesday.

Just got home from Jack's....still can't believe it!! Never expected him to show up. Left work at 11 pm...was tired and hungry and was thinking about coming straight home and buying the cd in the morning. Told a cpl people who I've traded with that I would be there so I decided I should go and meet them. Thank God I did!!! One of them took my picture with Bruce after he signed my cd. I hope it comes out!! I also think someone from the Press took our picture but he was taking lots of pictures so I doubt it will end up in the paper. Bruce looked great as usual. I rambled something stupid to him about having to put this autographed "Live" cd next to the Darkness album that he signed for me 22 yrs ago and thanked him for all the great shows over the yrs. He looked at me straight in the eyes and said "thanks". He stayed until 1:30 am, signing everyone's cds and anything else that was handed to him. I also bought Tracks sheet music and had him sign "The Promise" (that one's for hubby who kindly told me to go while he stayed home with the kids...thanks babe...i owe ya). I hope more of you board members were lucky enough to be there. Gotta go try to get some sleep!!!

i am so totally stoked that so many of our board members got to be there!!!!!!!!!!!! pretty amazing when you think about it.
congrats to brucefan_nj and spirit and stan who also was there. and midge..you got the call that i can't believe! stan didn't have his cell phone with him or he would have called me (i'm gonna have him surgically attach it to his side!)

so tell us how long did it take for bruce to convince you it was him??????? i have to think he got a lot of that disbelief last night! :D
