Last week piwi posted a picture that you might want to find. Maybe Dari will e-mail you the other picture fanatic7 was talking about.

I have seen the HT DVD, and all I can say is OH MY GOD!!!! I think the new anthology is on video now, so if you don't have a DVD, you can go to door #2 (of course, the picture isn't as sharp on VHS as DVD, but you won't be disappointed). Of course, I'm not sure your TV will ever be the same. :D

Welcome, Jeni! I also loved your story about discovering Bruce. How exciting for you--you have so many wonderful things to discover about him. While waiting for the HBO special, my sister put the DVD in and played HT and we paused it at all the right places! And believe me, I'm FAR from being a teenager but those hormones are still acting up! Another one you absolutely have to see is our man singing "Back in Your Arms" on the Blood Brothers DVD. CJ--It's one of Lynn Goldsmith's books of rock photos, not just Bruce as in her" Springsteen, Access All Areas" from '78. We can't post them for you because believe it or not we once put them on here and Ms. Goldsmith asked us to remove them.

In case you don't know she was his former girlfriend (the one he had removed from a show when he spotted her taking pictures.

Wow - I've been a bookseller for 12+ years (independents, too - not those chain things), and I never heard of that book! I've certainly heard of Lynn - when I was a teenager back in the 'Darkness years, all I wanted to be was a rock photographer when I grew up - just like her. Almost.
(I was at NoNukes the day before that infamous night, too. I still can't picture it in my mind, it seems so unlike Bruce, or at least my perception of him)

I'm surprised she concerns herself with scoping out the discussion boards and such, but I guess famous people wind up doing a lot of the same things you, I mean, WE, do ; )

Bringing this back because I just saw the Human Touch video (got the video anthology DVD for Mother's Day). The effect was totally lost in my 5-year-old daughter's running commentary, which went something like this:
