We're trying something a little different-- Please read

Since we\'ve had a bit of a problem recently with a few people feeling the need to attack Shelly or otherwise treat her with a lack of respect, all the questions for a while will funnel through a moderation queue. Which basically means that they won\'t appear on the board until Mike or I look at them and approve them. Once that happens, they\'ll be available for all to see and for Shelly to answer. This way too, if Shelly gets bogged down, we can just not put the questions on the board for her until she\'s ready and even then just do it a few at a time.

Bear with us, guys. We\'re trying to find a better way to make all this work so that it\'s easier for Shelly since she\'s here as a courtesy AND in a manner that is feasible for us moderators as well.

AH! Nikki, Mike, THANK YOU! You have no idea...I spent this morning upset and actually wrote a goodbye letter to LiveDaily. I was going to stop coming here altogether due to the few people insistent on picking fights for sport. I\'m glad I didn\'t post it!

Thank you so much. I haven\'t posted much lately just because it\'s been so hurtful to come and read people attacking me for no reason. Now maybe I can be able to turn my attention back again to the sweet people here.

Just to clarify a little further...yes, your messages are going through and we can see them. We\'re going to wait a little bit before we start sending them through just to let this die down a bit. Also, to keep things sort of clean, I think I\'ll PM many of your apologies and good wishes to Shelly rather than have them just stack up one behind the other. I know Shelly appreciates all the lovely things you\'ve all said.

Also, be aware, that all of the moderators posts and Shelly\'s posts cannot, at this time, be removed from moderation so if you see Shelly\'s name appearing on the main screen as being the last poster but you don\'t see anything up by her, it\'s because her response has gone into the queue too. Naturally, as soon as Mike and I come around, we\'ll approve them, but just don\'t go crazy when you don\'t see them. Like I said, we are trying to work out the bugs and make this a viable approach.

Lastly, glad we could help, Shelly, and that our timing was lucky. :)

Anyone who posted their apologies or kind words to Shelly regarding her post the other day, they got PM'd to her as I promised.

We've started putting the newer questions on but they'll be up in small batches, especially until Shelly feels like coming back on and answering again. If your question's not up here yet, don't panic just yet.

If you have an issue with this new process or complaints about us not putting one of your posts up, direct them via PM or email to me or to Mike. Shelly has nothing to do with what goes up and doesn't and doesn't see any of the posts until you see them so anything you'd like to say, rightfully ought to be directed at us (though feel free to direct all insults to Mike ;))

I simply ask everyone to remember that Shelly is not here to defend herself or her daughter. This is not a forum for you to be telling Shelly how much you dislike Christina or any other insults you care to parlay. Questions are welcome. Heck, even criticism, if phrased correctly and addressing a proper question will be allowed. Just don't be rude, insulting, arrogant, or condescending and remember that this is someone's mother you're addressing--have a modicum of respect for her and what she's trying to do here for fans
