No, but I remember watching Backlund getting hammered every week, falling out of the ring, crawl under, come out "bleeding", get back in the ring, and destroy whomever he was facing that week. I was like 12 and thought it was real.

In the early 80's we went to WWF at MSG for real and it was a riot. Many fans were so into it and bought the concept. Saw the Iron Sheik and George the Animal Steel, Sgt Slaughter among others and you could see them swing and miss by a foot and the other guy went down like he was shot.

Plywood under the Seeleys - LOL

I did meet Macho Man Randy and Miss Elizabeth at a paper store in Belleville NJ - she was so hot

and they were very nice. Too bad she got into roids.

Also saw a camouflaged Lincoln Limo on the Garden State Parkway with license plate SGT SLT which I assumed was Sgt Slaughter

believe it or not when u were revisiting The RIver I was front Row at the Jay Z show at UCLA ...... good times great performer and rhianna showed up to sing as well
not trying to compare the two but all n all a great performance amazing charisma and good sound
