O/T It is official!!!! Britney to perform at the vmas!
On the mtv news brief, they set missy, jayz, and britney were added to grace the stage on thursday. It is surprising to me because I did not think that Britney would perform. What do you think about it??? I think she should have just performed next year when she was back in the spotlight and had a few nods, but I guess this can help hype her up for the new album!!!!

I remember when Britney did this a few years ago before her BRITNEY album came out and before "I'm A Slave 4 U" was released...she performed at the VMAs to hype up everything. I guess she's trying for the same strategy. The VMAs seem interesting this year.

Are you sure they are performing because "gracing the stage" can mean presenting, which all 3 of them (Missy, Jay Z, and Britney) are listed as presenters on MTV.com.
So I think they will be presenting rather than performing...? |

Meanwhile, Jay, Britney and the rest of the latest wave of artists confirmed to appear will share the stage with P. this is great, christina and britney and madonna bring back pop. i love her perfomances they rock and as far as im concerned her 2000 vma performasnce is the best vma performance ever. i cant wait.
