Outdoor hockey

Last nights outdoor hockey game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Edmonton Oilers was not televised here in the US. That sucks. I bet the ratings would have been high. This could have put hockey on the map here in the US.

Yeah, it's too bad. I saw some clips of it the other night after the Red Wings game, it looked like fun.

The NHL website was offering a stream of the entire game. Not sure if it's still there but might be worth checking into if anyone wasn't able to see it on TV.

I think ESPN really made a mistake not showing this game. Just the novelty of outdoor hockey would be a big draw.
