American Idol:2/24-2/25/04.
The reports are that the show is pretty good. I have high hopes on Amy, so I hope she does well.

They were all GREAT. Um, well... the drama teacher was intresting. I thought he was okay, I know he can be better... but that wasn't even the issue for me tonight. Why were some of his words sounding really disconnected.. ya know? Like the vibrato wasn't... connected enough, I dunno...
I'm voting for the last two. That 17 year old, Leah... and the the 25 year old... don't remember her name, but she did this really awesome high note,, and held it for A LONG time. She was 1-866-IDOL-08 lol

Letoya London was so superb singing Eric Carmen's "All By Myself"! Best one of the night. And Leah Labelle was also good too!

I'm pulling for Amy at this point. I don't care for Latoya's voice too much. I don't know what it is about it, but something about it I don't care for.

Yes, very good night last night. I wasn't too impressed with any of the guys, but I thought all of the girls were good. If I voted, I pry would have voted for Latoya and the first girl...Letender or something like that. I also like Amy Adams, so if she makes it that would be cool. Overall, great show!

My vote is for Amy Adams and Latoya London. Loved 'em both! Didn't care for Leah Labelle.

HA! I got my wish! I'm surprised though. Did anyone notice the camera looked at Leah Labelle alot after she was told she's not in the top 3? I know she was crying, but it like kept pausing on her. Thought it was weird.

So far, we one dude in the final 12. I can see why Randy has been saying this year, it's all about the girls. Not many of the guys have really impressed me. Oh well...maybe next week. |

Why did the pen salesman make it in the top 3? I actually thought he was the worst, worse than the dramam teacher

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing about the pen salesmen...
um, there's only two wilcard picks? I was under the impression that there was four...?? One by each of the judges, then one by America..

32 finalists / 8 contestants a week = 4 groups 2 winners each week x 4 groups = 8 in the final 12 12 - 8 = 4 wildcards: 1 per judge, 1 by America It makes sense... |

I definitely think Leah will be a wildcard, and will probably be one of the final 12. I'm not sure how far she would make it in the final 12, but I definitely think she belongs there. I have a feeling next week's show will have contestants whgo aren't very good, and many of the wildcards will be from weeks 1 and 3.
